FRIENDS OF FOSTER CHILDREN ANNOUNCES NEW EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR AND PROGRAM MANAGER

Naples, Fla. – Mar. 4, 2013 - The Board of Friends of Foster Children, SWFL (FFC) is delighted to announce that Jane Billings, Executive Director, and Jessica Goodall, Program Manager, joined the Friends of Foster Children as of Mar. 1, 2013. Both Jane and Jessica bring valuable skill sets and years of experience to the organization. Jane has spent the last 10 years as VP of Development and Marketing at the Community Foundation of Collier County, and Jessica has many years of experience as the case manager supervisor at Family Preservation Services, the agency responsible for providing services to children in care.
Jane plans to capitalize on the incredible job FFC is already doing to help provide resources and opportunities to abused, neglected and abandoned children in Southwest Florida. “However,” says Jane, “the greatest opportunity will be in growing the network of true Friends of Foster Children. Our goal is to increase the funds available to reach all these children in need, and help support them with resources such as tutoring, after-school programs, camps and clothing, that they would not otherwise have.”
Jessica also said, “I am excited to use my child welfare experience to help build and strengthen our relationship with case managers, Guardian Ad Litems and caregivers, so that we may all work together to assist as many children as possible in the child welfare system. My passion lies in helping children in care lead as normal a life as possible so that they may be given the chance to succeed and blossom. I am ecstatic for the road ahead.”
Friends of Foster Children has recently moved to its new location at: 2640 Golden Gate Parkway, Suite 112, Naples, 34105. You’ll find us at the intersection of Golden Gate Parkway and Airport Pulling Road in the Poinciana Professional Park. Our doors are open, and we invite you to drop by and learn more about our work.
